1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Rewind World and Nguyen's Games collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use our website, account system, dashboard, community features, shop, virtual world features, and future game-related services.

Rewind World is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Do not create an account or use the service if you are under 18.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Notice at Collection

We collect the categories of information listed below for the purposes described. Some categories may not be collected until the related feature is active. For example, payment records may only be collected if paid purchases are enabled, and room or avatar data may only be collected once those systems are available.

3. Eligibility and 18+ Service

Rewind World is intended only for users who are 18 or older. We may collect date of birth or age confirmation during signup to help determine eligibility.

If we learn that an ineligible user created an account, we may restrict or close the account and delete or limit the related information, subject to legal, security, fraud prevention, moderation, and payment record needs.

Rewind World is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

4. Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly, including username, email address, password credentials, date of birth, age confirmation, profile information, account settings, support requests, community reports, feedback, messages, room names, mission content, and other content you choose to submit.

If you contact us through Discord, email, support forms, or other channels, we may collect your contact details, message contents, attachments, and related account information needed to respond.

5. Information Collected Automatically

We may automatically collect technical and usage information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring pages, session activity, timestamps, approximate location from IP address, cookies, local storage data, analytics events, security logs, crash logs, and performance data.

This information helps us operate the service, keep accounts secure, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, understand usage, and improve Rewind World.

6. Game, Economy, and Moderation Records

As Rewind World features are developed, we may collect and store avatar data, room data, inventory, virtual currency balances, item ownership, collectible history, VIP status, progression, missions, trades, marketplace listings, reports, moderation actions, and account activity.

We use this information to provide the service, save player progress, operate the economy, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce rules, protect limited releases, and support community safety.

7. Sensitive Information

We try to limit the sensitive information we collect. Date of birth or age confirmation may be collected for eligibility. Payment information may be handled by third-party payment providers if purchases are enabled.

We do not want users to submit sensitive personal information through public profiles, messages, room names, mission content, or community posts. Do not post information such as government IDs, financial account numbers, precise home addresses, medical information, or other sensitive details in public areas.

8. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, verify eligibility, provide login access, operate the dashboard, save avatar and room progress, maintain inventories, process purchases, deliver virtual currency and virtual items, provide VIP benefits, operate community features, respond to support requests, and communicate service updates.

We also use information to enforce rules, moderate content, investigate reports, prevent fraud, protect the economy, reverse unauthorized transactions, detect exploits, maintain security, improve performance, test features, analyze usage, and comply with legal obligations.

9. Payments and Transaction Records

If Rewind World offers paid features, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Rewind World should not store full payment card numbers unless a compliant payment system is used.

We may store purchase records, transaction IDs, package contents, virtual currency delivery records, item delivery records, VIP status, refund records, chargeback records, fraud signals, and related account history for support, accounting, fraud prevention, economy integrity, and legal compliance.

10. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, improve the website, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot performance.

Rewind World does not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or cross-context behavioral advertising. If we introduce those tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices before using them.

11. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Rewind World, including hosting providers, database providers, payment processors, analytics providers, email providers, security tools, moderation tools, customer support tools, and development contractors.

We may share information when required by law, legal process, court order, government request, fraud investigation, payment dispute, safety issue, enforcement of our Terms, protection of rights, business transfer, or to protect Rewind World, users, staff, volunteers, contractors, or the public.

If you use Discord or other third-party community platforms, information you provide there is also subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy policies.

12. No Sale or Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money.

As of the date above, Rewind World does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required opt-out method before enabling that type of sharing.

Where legally required, we will honor applicable browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, for covered activities.

13. Public and Community Information

Some information may be visible to other users when community features are enabled, such as username, avatar, profile details, room names, room layouts, public messages, item displays, marketplace listings, event participation, and collectibles shown publicly.

Do not post personal information publicly that you do not want other users to see.

14. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, operate the economy, deliver purchases, enforce rules, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with law, maintain security, and support the project.

Some information may be retained after account closure, including transaction records, refund records, chargeback records, moderation history, fraud prevention records, security logs, legal records, and records needed to protect the economy or other users.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, aggregate, or otherwise handle it according to our retention practices and legal obligations.

15. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These may include access controls, password hashing, secure transmission where appropriate, limited staff access, logging, backups, vendor controls, and security monitoring.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. Users should use strong passwords, keep login information private, avoid reusing passwords, and report suspected account compromise quickly.

Access to sensitive systems should be limited to people with a legitimate need to know, including authorized developers, administrators, support staff, or service providers.

You may access, update, or correct certain account information through available account settings or by contacting us.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Some requests may be limited or denied where retention is required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, moderation, legal compliance, or operation of the service.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, information about sharing practices, or appeal of certain privacy decisions.

We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law and may also honor reasonable requests when practical, provided doing so does not harm security, the economy, legal compliance, fraud prevention, moderation records, or other users.

If California privacy laws apply to Rewind World, California residents may have rights to know what personal information is collected, delete personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, account information, commercial information, internet or device activity, approximate location, user-generated content, gameplay or virtual economy data, and inferences related to preferences or activity.

We do not knowingly sell personal information or knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required choices.

California residents may submit privacy requests by contacting privacy@rewindworld.com. We will verify and respond to eligible requests as required by applicable law.

19. Children and Minors

Rewind World is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to create accounts.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate action to delete or restrict the information unless retention is legally required.

20. International Users

If you access Rewind World from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

The updated Privacy Policy will become effective when posted or on the date stated in the notice. Continued use of Rewind World after the updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies.
